Suriprofs in Eco Resort Inn

The Suriprofs, professional football players of Surinamese origin in the Netherlands, visited Suriname from June 5 – 16. They stayed at the Eco Resort Inn.

The Suriprofs competed in an international tournament for the Coca Cola trophy and took up against Nacional All Stars, SBCS-selection en Fruta Conquerers. Famous football players such as Aaron Winter, Stanley Menzo, Cedric Seedorf, Nordin Wouter, Reguillo Simons en Jerry Hasselbaink were present.

Besides this sporty contribution, the Suriprofs also donated 110.000 euro to the pediatric ward of the Diakonessen hospital in Paramaribo, together with the Zeister Zendingsgenootschap and Stichting Wilde Ganzen. Now this pediatric ward can be renovated. The Dutch football players visit Suriname on a regular basis for matches and to support social projects in Suriname.
