The Surinamese Business Association “VSB” (Vereniging Surinaams Bedrijfsleven) organized a business mission during 23 – 29 October 2005

This year the first two Jazz night of this successful festival took place at the Pier of Torarica. National and international artists came to Suriname to perform.

For the second time Torarica organized a special event for her major guest providers on October 28, 2005.

The largest travel & tour organization from Europe “World of TUI” came to their new destination Suriname from 17-19 October, 2005. Tour operator Sun & Forest Tours is the local partner of TUI and organized this trip.

From 3 – 10 November 125 Dutch physicians including their partners visited Suriname for retraining purposes, they stayed in Torarica and Eco Resort Inn. The courses were provided in Torarica by international specialists.

After many requests of wedding couples “to be”, Torarica Hotel & Casino initiated for the second time the multicultural Weddingshow & Fair in Suriname. The Pier of Torarica was transformed into a fairy tale on the 5st of November 2005, made possible by Roeli’s Lighting & Décor and Niamat Rentals.
