The first Dutch
continuing-education course for lung specialists
and general practitioners took place in in November
2004 in hotel Torarica. In the Netherlands physicians
must yearly follow 40 hours of continuing education
in order to remain registered as a doctor.
Renovation Wedding Room Combe
The official
conveyance and use of the renovated Wedding Room
Combe situated across Torarica, took place on December
13, 2004. The private sector showed initiative,
after observing the lack of governmental means.
The SUP works hard to keep the entertainment area
safe and pretty. This renovation project fits the
objectives of the SUP.

“Kabalebo
Nature Resort” with Access Travel Suriname
Kabalebo is uninhabited, which is the reason for its remarkable
biodiversity. This part of Suriname is home to many wild
animals such as dear, wild boar, capybara, tapir and wild
cats like the jaguar.
